About Vet Answering Line
We built Vet Answering Line to answer veterinary clinic calls when your team is helping pets and their owners. Hear the receptionist handle a fictional call in the browser demo, then request a free trial for your clinic.

We give veterinary clinics another way to answer the phone while staff care for the pets in front of them. A boarding question, a worried owner and a refill request need different responses. Your receptionist gathers the details and follows the call rules you provide.
Your clinic sets the instructions
Your onboarding chat and website give the receptionist your services, hours, price policy and urgent call instructions. You choose whether to forward all calls or only busy, unanswered or after-hours calls. Tell the AI in plain words when those settings need to change.
It can book appointments into Google Calendar or collect requests for your team to call back. English and Spanish are available, and callers can switch languages during a call. Email and app push notifications bring your staff a summary, urgency tag, transcript and recording.
Worried owners need a clear next step
Your receptionist flags urgency and follows your routing instructions, with a warm transfer or a page to your on-call person. It does not diagnose a pet or give medication or dosing advice. Clinical decisions stay with your veterinary team.
The greeting tells callers that they are speaking with a virtual assistant and that the call is recorded. We keep those notices on so the introduction is clear. You can review call records in the dashboard and adjust your instructions as your clinic's needs change.
Hear it before you decide
We offer fictional veterinary demo calls so you can judge the intake yourself, without signing up. Try an appointment request or an after-hours routing scenario and listen to the questions. Then request a free trial; we'll email your sign-in link when your trial is ready so you can complete an onboarding chat, with a card required before forwarding goes live.
How we work
- Clear introductions Your receptionist identifies itself as a virtual assistant and announces recording at the start of each call.
- Your clinic's choices You set intake instructions, forwarding choices and the order for reaching your on-call team.
- Facts before answers We work from the clinic information you provide and take messages for questions your team must resolve.
